The 5 members of Smap are Nakai Masahiro, Kimura Takuya,
Inagaki Goro, Kusanagi Tsuyoshi, and Katori Shingo. (Remember in Japan, your last name is stated first.). Former member Katsuyuki
Mori left the group to pursue a career in auto racing. They are good singers, dancers, and excellent actors. But
what's most appealing is you will find yourself falling in love with their character. The more I see and hear,
the more I want to see and hear!
The members are super busy. They have weekly television shows,
television specials, J-dorama, movies, radio talk shows, magazine columns, concerts not to mention life! Smap is best
known for their singing and dancing! They have over 17 albums and many singles released. Their stadium/arena concerts have
sold out everytime with fans from all over the world attending! |

Masahiro Nakai was born August 18, 1972 in Fujisawa, Japan. He is
oldest of the group thus the leader. Masahiro is commonly known as Nakai. Standing at about 5'5" tall (the shortest) and he
is the man behind Smap.
Takuya Kimura was born November 13, 1973 in Tokyo, Japan. He's about
5'9" tall. He is complex and difficult to describe. Takuya is a disciplined and honest man who puts everything he has in everything
he does. He has a kind heart and it really shows. He genuinely loves his fan which is one of the things I admire about
him.
Goro Inagaki is the middle man of the group. He was born in
Tokyo, Japan on December 8, 1973 and stands about 5'9". He is in a word complex. Goro has a wonderful sense of humor but he
can be just as serious. He is reserve at times and then he's wild man.
Tsuyoshi Kusanagi was born on July 9, 1974 in Shikoku, Japan but
lived his life in Saitama since he was 2 years old. Tsuyo is about 5'6" tall, very thin but most agile. He does flips, handstands,
etc. Tsuyo is soft-spoken and has a calm personality. He is definitely the strong silent type.
Shingo Katori is the youngest of the group and the tallest standing at 6 feet. He's the comedian
of the group and he has a sweet spirit that you will adore! Shingo was born in Kanagawa, Japan on January 31, 1977.
He is fun-loving, has a wonderful personality and is known for his generosity! Personally, I think he has one of the best
smile I've ever seen.
